We have a charge from Jesus to reach all of the people in the world with His gospel. Because of that we feel as responsible for the people on the other side of the globe as we do our next door neighbors. That’s why at Warren Woods we have a global mission strategy.
Every person is encouraged to be actively involved in global missions. We give our people an opportunity to go on short term mission trips to other places around the world. These trips include trips within our own state of Michigan, to other places in the U.S. and countries around the world.
A few examples of some of the things we have done in recent years are short term missions trips to East Africa, the Middle East, West Africa, France, re-roofing a church in Illinois, children’s ministry in an inner city mission in Ohio, and a variety of construction projects in Southeast Michigan.
Some of our partners in our global mission strategy are:
The International Mission Board
The North American Mission Board
Southern Baptist Disaster Relief
The Baptist State Convention of Michigan
We have a specific strategy to reach an unreached people group in the Middle East and an unreached people group in West Africa.
