Current Topic: It’s normal to talk about Jesus.

“It’s normal to talk about Jesus.”

…At least it should be. But, if we’re being honest, we often feel abnormal, awkward, nervous, or scared. What should be the most normal thing to talk about with another person often gets pushed to the sidelines by other, easier topics of discussion: sports, the weather, kids, vacations, a new restaurant we’ve tried, etc.

We often sit in the uncomfortable tension between knowing that we should be talking about Jesus with unbelievers and actually being obedient to do that.

So, let’s devote time to strengthen one another in this vitally important area for our church. To make disciples of Jesus is the reason why we’re here (Matt 28:18-20), but we all need to be equipped for this task.

That’s what this Equip Group is all about.

WHAT'S AN EQUIP GROUP?

The goal for these groups is to equip the people of God to live a faithful Christian life and fulfill their unique ministry callings in their homes, church, neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces. Equip Groups meet once a week and cover one topic per 10-week session.

“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
