Frequently Asked Questions

Our Sunday morning service begins at 11:00am and typically lasts 70-75 minutes.

Our church gathers on 12 Mile in Warren, right across from Macomb Community College. (14251 E Twelve Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48088)

We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes early. That will give you enough time to look around, check in children (if needed), grab a coffee or snack from our cafe and find your seat.

We have reserved parking spots marked and available for guests. You’ll see them on your right as soon as you pull into our parking lot.

Whatever you feel most comfortable in! Most people are dressed casually.

You can expect to be greeted at our welcome table just inside the front doors. There you’ll find a friendly face ready to answer any questions you may have and they’ll gladly direct you where you need to go. If you’d like us to be on the lookout for you, feel free to fill out this form.

YES! Our church is made up of imperfect people from all different backgrounds. We all have messy stories, ongoing victories, and ongoing struggles. What unites us, in spite of all our differences, is that we have been changed by the powerful love of Jesus!

No matter your age, ethnicity, ability or background. No matter what questions you have or what your past experience with church has been: we hope you will find life, transformation, and real community here.

Our honest answer is “yes” and “no”. We’re not a huge church, so yes, people may notice a new face and say “hi” and introduce themselves to you. Many guests enjoy the family-feel of our church and like feeling seen and cared for the first time they visit. At the same time, we have guests visiting our church almost every week, so it’s easy to “blend in”. We will never call you out or make you stand up or shake hands during our services!

We’re glad you asked! Children of all ages are welcome in our main service. But we also offer age-specific, developmentally appropriate programs for newborns through fifth grade every Sunday at both 9:45 and 11am. We also have Sunday morning classes and mid-week spiritual growth opportunities for teens!

Learn more about our kids classes and save time at check-in by registering your kids before your visit: newborn-preschool, K-5th.

If your child is nervous about going into a new environment and you’d like to have them sit in the service, you are more than welcome to bring them! (But we can safely say, once they work up the courage to try out a Kids Class, they’re going to love it!)

Once a quarter, we lead a “Next Steps” class for anyone interested in church membership. During it, you’ll have a chance to talk with our staff, ask questions, share your faith story, and get an idea of what our church believes and what membership at Warren Woods means. Please reach out if you’re interested in signing up for our next meeting!

If you’re visiting for the first time and want to learn more about our church or have questions about how you can get involved, just stop by our welcome desk before or after the service to talk with a staff member or volunteer. As a way to say “thanks for being here”, we have a free welcome gift we’d like to give you on your way out!
