MCREST

Mcrest stands for Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team which shelters men, women, children and families for up to 90 days in congregations across Macomb County. The congregations provide meals, shower facilities, transportation, and laundry services for their guests. MCREST is proud to provide a safe place where families and individuals can start over again and begin the transition of changing their lives. We will be housing men only. Volunteers Needed

• help prepare breakfast
• pack daily lunches
• intake – assist with name tags, bus transportation, tickets, lunch menus and personal item inspection
• evening monitors
• overnight monitors
• personal laundry on Wednesday

Dinners

Dinners will be provided by our church family. If your Bible Fellowship class or if several families go together, would be willing to provide a dinner one of the nights, please contact Connie Blumberg or Rose Kiger with a menu and what day you would be able to provide a meal.

Donations

Please take any tab items on the bulletin board and return them by Saturday, October 6th and put into the prepared donation boxes in the main hallway or near the front doors.
